Meet Pumpkin, a sweet as pie 2.5-pound, 2months old fluffball with a heart full of love! This sweet baby Maltese found her way to Emporium House when her previous family moved across the country and couldn’t take her along. But don’t let her age fool you, Pumpkin is bursting with energy and loves playing with her toys! 🐾

Her foster family can’t stop raving about her; Pumpkin is the perfect houseguest! She’s not yet potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, knows basic commands, and gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs and even the cat. Her favorite snack is baby carrots, and she’ll break into the cutest little happy dance to snag one. While she’s not a huge fan of her crate, she’s happy to go in when needed. However, she’s earned the privilege of sleeping on her cozy bed in her foster parents’ room!

Pumpkin enjoys the company of other pets but would also thrive as the only dog in a quieter home without small children. She’s been given a clean bill of health, up-to-date on her vaccines, and ready to start her new adventure with a loving family.
