Meet WINSTON & FIONA
WINSTON & FIONA
Have been looking to aquire a bonded pair yorki pets for adoption??
Here is your chance.
They are 4 years old and weigh a little over pounds.
Micro chipped and Spayed/Neutered.
This 2 have been united! Forever now. They mustbe adopted together. They have just been brought back to the rescue after a horrible experience. After Christmas we were to set up the transfer to a lady. Christmas evening, she sent an email saying Winston was tossed out of the car by her boyfriend and is now in the Dog Pound. The next morning, as soon as the animal control opened, we telephoned and explained the situation and wanted to come get him. The Dog Warden wanted a call from the owner as he was on stray hold, so we had her contact them. After calling back, we were told that we can get him . . . So we had to take his sistertoo. It shows they only wanted 1 of the 2. No point in trying to convince these Wardens your side and how we should consider the welfare of the dog. The owner explained to me, I know this is a lot to ask but the girl is mine. I don’t have room for the boy or would be the best option to place him. We spent the entire day emailing (not one response) and phoning every rescue about the boy and surprisingly 95% of the numbers listed on the state site were disconnected. We were later told that most of the rescues around there were all closed up. Our mind raced with every trick in the book to get Winston sprung from jail – he was scared and the only “Yorkie ” amongst a building of dogs. That Friday morning, we phoned first thing – calling from a different number. The gal answered and put the call on speaker. We wanted to clarify the situation a little better, tell them about his bonded sister Fiona, I had a release, their vet records etc. The girl talks to the sheriff in the background – it’s that lady again . He said we made him adoptable today so first come to the door gets him. Come on Please! – it will take my volunteers 40 minutes to arrive so he agreed to put a brief travel hold on Winston. Thank heavens for Lidia and Fin to the rescue – they got there quick, filled out the paperwork and the fee was waived for Rescue. Sigh of relief when the pictures were texted of Winston walking out of the pound.
They are now available for adoption and this time we will make sure they go the best forever home were they must be treated with lots of love ❤️.
They have a combined rehoming fee of 1000
