Look at how the tulips tower over little EDDY!! Our little chuy boy is the sweetest thing, right around 6 months old and growing at just 3.3 pounds now to 4.5 maximum. Eddy is a playful, curious boy who LOVES to go for walkies. He would love a home with another small friendly dog if possible. He's fostered with kitties and is fine with a bit of management. If he has a playmate, he will likely ignore cats. Eddy is housebroken and crate trained and good with older kids. We prefer not to send Eddy to a home where there are big dogs or small children because she's such a tiny little thing. Eddy needs to go to a home with responsible parents who can complete the vetting provided by the rescue. If you are interested in adopting a small young dog like Eddy, please be prepared to make a 12-14 year commitment (or more). We're looking for an adopter who is ready to make a lifetime commitment to Eddy, not a commitment until you have kids, move, change jobs, etc. If you would like to get Eddy, please fill out a dog adoption application by contacting us We are happy to let him go with an approved adopter. 

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
